Ivan Jovetic is an entrepreneur and lecturer. He holds a PhD degree in International Economy from the UDG-Faculty for International Economy, Finance and Business. His fields of interest are vast and different due to different position and jobs he undertakes and they include entrepreneurship, technology, cyber defense, defense economy, NATO, EU etc.
He has been working at the Institute for Strategic Studies and Prognoses from 2005 till 2021. During this time he has been involved in in and managed numerous international and national projects. In addition, he has been Executive Director of the Centre for European Education and Studies – CE²S – a research center dedicated to European research, education, and entrepreneurship from 2006 till 2018. He has also been a member of the Working Groups for negotiations with the European.
He is co-founder of MSI INVEST Ltd. through which he has been executing his own and his partners’ entrepreneurial ideas. The company has been involved in several business sectors.
Since 2007 Ivan Jovetic has been working at the UDG – Faculty for International Economy, Finance and Business as a teaching assistant. He has been involved in establishing and coordination of the UDG – Faculty for Sports Management from 2013. He acts as the Faculty’s Dean since 2022.
Mr. Jovetic is also involved in startup development being a member of EBAN, GBAN as well as WBAF where he acts as Senator for Montenegro and member of the Global Startup Committee. He is also managing pre-acceleration program called Start1Up at the UDG.
From 2018 till 2021 he acted as the President of the Council of RTCG, public broadcasting company in Montenegro.
Mr. Jovetic is member of DEM-Association of Economists and Managers of Montenegro.
