AAI brings the practical boardroom perspective to this edition: how free-market principles and smart simplification can translate into better strategic decisions, more efficient capital allocation, and innovation—through board autonomy and clear accountability, professional standards, and relevant capabilities (including digital/AI and cybersecurity).

AAI emphasizes that SOE reform should be built on governance mechanisms, not on “externalized management” through operational instructions and excessive approvals that block decision-making. Interim arrangements should remain exceptions: deep transformation requires full mandates, predictability, and real accountability for results.
