The event began with the speech of the Rector of Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Grigore Belostecinic, PhD habilitate, professor, academician. The Rector presented his appreciations towards this project, mentioning that

“In these circumstances, it is important to hold discussions in order to identify certain solutions, including the modelling of possible future developments. As we live in a very dynamic world, we are witnessing unprecedented events in Europe, in the world and in our immediate vicinity, and the generic of the event we are witnessing is a very suggestive one: The variant of freedom. The freedom we have been deprived of by the Covid-19 virus (entrepreneurial freedom, social freedom, individual freedom), human rights and freedoms, threatened by the war in Ukraine, the post-Covid economic future and after the war in Ukraine, etc., are topics that, along with others of this kind, will be addressed in the current edition of the Free Market Road Show event.”
